My name is Max Gersh and I am a multimedia photojournalist.
I have been studying and practicing journalism and photography for over a decade.
I graduated from Webster University in 2008 with a B.A. in photography, spending one semester abroad in Shanghai, China.
My images have been published across the Midwest in many newspapers, including The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, The Kansas City Star and The Chicago Sun-Times.
On top of my work in the journalism industry, I participated in the design and construction of Web sites for one of St. Louis’ leading interactive advertising agencies, working on projects for clients like Nestle Purina.
Currently, I am the Chief Photographer and Photo Editor at The Courier-Times in New Castle, IN.
